IGNOU Admission Policy For admission to M.Sc (Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science), PGDMCH, PGDGM, PGDHHM and PGCMDM programs, please refer to the Common Prospectus for January 2020 and submit your application as Regional Center or as specified. Please only Rs. Deposit with registration fee of Rs. 400 / – in favor of IGNOU and payable to Regional Center City (New Delhi in case of PGCMDM) through bank draft.

In a special admission cycle, the fee waiver facility available to SC / ST students can be claimed for only one program. If an applicant submits more than one application claiming fee waiver, all applications are eligible to be rejected.

Instructions for filling the application form online

If you are a first time applicant, you are advised to click on the program tab available on the homepage of the online admission system and select the desired program and carefully read the program details including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration etc.
You are also requested to download the prospectus in January 2020 and carefully read the University Rules (Section 06) mentioned in the General Prospectus. You can also read sections 1, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13.
Click on the new registration button that appears in the applicant login area and fill in the required registration details.
Remember, when choosing your username it must be between 8 and 16 characters.
When choosing your password it must be alphanumeric and between 8 and 16 characters long.
After filling the mandatory information, click on the “SUBMIT” button.
Your username will be sent to you via SMS and email immediately.
Remember your username and password for later logins.
If you have already registered, you are an existing user, click the “Login” button.
Before proceeding to fill the online form, the applicant must have: –

Scanned photo (less than 100 KB)
Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
Scanned copy of age certificate (less than 200 KB)
Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification certificate (less than 200 KB)
Scanned copy of experience certificate (less than 200 KB)
Scanned copy of category certificate if ST / SC / OBC (less than 200 KB)
Scanned copy of BPL certificate at below poverty line (less than 200 KB)

Ignou Admission policy

IGNOU Admission Policy Jawaharlal Nehru University came into existence in 1969, which was formed under Jawaharlal Nehru University 1966 (53 of 1966). (vi) To establish such departments or institutions as may be necessary for the study of languages, literature and life of foreign countries to engage students in world perspective and international understanding;
(vii) Provides facilities for students and teachers from other countries to participate in educational programs and university life. Universities are a distinct combination of national resources in higher education, not simply due to the mere quantitative expansion of already existing facilities. The university has identified and is focusing on some of the major academic programs the nation is focusing on. The relevance of national progress and development is fundamental. The IGNOU Library is the most resourceful information center in the country in the field of distance education. The library has the largest collection of books, magazines and other related materials in the field of distance education across the country. It was established in 1986 with the objectives of IGNOU.

Mission
The primary mission of the library is to support the university’s academic and research programs by providing physical and intellectual access to information. According to the objectives of the university, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of useful documents for readers.

IGNOU Library
Indira Gandhi National Open University operates through a three-tier system, which is the headquarters of the university at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi; There are 59 regional centers and five (5) sub-regional centers in various states and 1,621 study centers are scattered all over the country. The Library and Documentation Division is a hierarchical system with the Central Library at headquarters, followed by libraries located at Regional Centers (RCLs) and Study Centers (SCLs). The Central Library caters to the needs of academic, administrative and support staff and students at headquarters. RCL looks at the library needs of staff, students, academic counselors and educational coordinators at regional centers and SCLs to meet the needs of students. Specially. As the role of the library within any university can only be realized in the context of the philosophy of the Institute of Education, the basic objectives of L&D lie with those of IGNOU. They are as follows:
To develop suitable collections in various disciplines to meet the needs of diverse customers of libraries of university, regional and study centers.
Providing reading, credit, reference, information and documentation facilities to employees and students of all categories,
Develop a special collection of distance education books and magazines in the libraries of headquarters and regional centers, and
• To provide documentation and comprehensive reference / information services to other open universities in the world and especially in areas related to distance education in India.
• To facilitate electronic resourc in the form of e-journals, e-books and e-databases for educational and research as per international and national trends.
