How do I know if there is a fault?

Your dishwasher will self-diagnose and notify you by continually beeping.

If one of the drawers has a problem:

The fault drawer’s drawer indicator will flash red, and the fault code will appear in the display. The display will return to the flashing fault code for the affected drawer if the issue is on a non-selected drawer.

Note:

  • You may still utilise the other drawer if one of the drawers has a malfunction.
  • If you pause a drawer with the drawer indicator glowing red and another drawer faults, the stopped drawer indication will blink white.

If both drawers have a problem:

  • The problem code will flash on the display and the chosen drawer indicator will flash red.
  • The other drawer’s drawer indicator will likewise flash red.
  • Press the ‘∏’ button to scroll between the drawers and note down the fault codes for each drawer. There may be the same code flashing for both, or two different codes flashing, depending on the faults.

What should I do if there is a fault?

Some of the defects may be self-repairable; others may need contacting Fisher & Paykel Customer Care to schedule a service technician visit.
