Krispy Kreme sets doughnut prices to $4.11 average gas price Wednesday to offer inflation relief
After a month of record-breaking gas prices, there is finally some respite at the pump.
In addition, certain restaurant chains and petrol stations have introduced new limited-time offers aimed at offering extra respite from rising costs and inflation.
Starting Wednesday and continuing every Wednesday through May 4, Krispy Kreme is giving a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for the price of a gallon of petrol, a promotion it refers to as “doughnut deflation.”
The price for April 13 is $4.11, and it is “based on the national average price of a gallon of normal gasoline in the United States on Monday at the start of the week,” according to the business.

There is a two-dozen limit at the offer pricing at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide at the drive-thru and for pick-up by purchasing online or through the Krispy Kreme app.

Every week, Krispy Kreme will announce the pricing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Krispykreme.com/offers/beatthepump, according to the company.
Bojangles free gas gift cards
With every purchase of a Bojangles Family Meal that includes 12 or 20 bone-in chicken pieces, biscuits, sides, and iced tea, Bojangles is giving away a million dollars in free gas gift cards.
The fast-food chain stated in a statement that the meals come with a $10 gift card until “stock run out” to “assist consumers offset the growing expense of filling up their tanks.”
Dunkin’ and Shell team up with promo
Shell Fuel Rewards customers with connected DD Perks and Fuel Rewards accounts may save 30 cents per gallon at Shell through May 12 with their fifth beverage purchase at Dunkin’.
The deal represents a three-fold increase above the regular Dunkin’ offer of 10 cents per gallon savings.
