Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are re-engaged!
Lopez made the announcement via her fan newsletter, On The JLo, in a brief video in which she adoringly gaze at a green-hued diamond ring.

As love music plays, Lopez adds in a voiceover, “You’re wonderful.”
On Friday evening, Lopez teased the “exciting and unique” news on Facebook.
According to sources close to the artist, the video is an engagement announcement.
Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, fueled engagement speculations earlier this week when she was pictured with her 14-year-old daughter Emme wearing a ring on her wedding finger while shopping in Los Angeles.
Insiders close to Affleck recently told Page Six that if he proposed again, they wouldn’t be surprised.
Fans and the media instantly called the couple “Bennifer” after they began dating in 2002. The two weren’t afraid to demonstrate their affection for one other at the time, as seen by PDA-heavy portions from Lopez’s “Jenny From the Block” music video.
By November of that year, Affleck had proposed to Lopez with a Harry Winston 6.1-carat pink diamond. The colossal sparkler is said to have cost $2.5 million.
During a 2000s interview with Diane Sawyer, Lopez discussed her first engagement, describing her fiancé as “brilliantly intellectual, lovely, charming, and affectionate.”
“The most amazing thing I’ve ever seen,” she said, referring to her exquisite ring.
Unfortunately, the couple’s 2003 wedding was postponed and subsequently cancelled due to widespread media attention.
“We have chosen to postpone the date due to the increased media attention around our wedding,” the couple stated in a joint statement. “We noticed something was wrong when we were really considering hiring three distinct ‘decoy brides’ at three different locales.”
“We began to feel that the essence of what should have been the happiest day of our life may be damaged,” the statement added. We were concerned that what should have been a wonderful and important day for us, our families, and friends may be ruined.”
Lopez called off the engagement in early 2004, and by June of that year, she was married to singer Marc Anthony. In 2008, the couple welcomed twins Max and Emme into the world.
In the meanwhile, Affleck has moved on from Jennifer Garner. In 2005, he married the actress and they have three children together: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
Despite the fact that both of their marriages ended in divorce, Lopez embarked on a new whirlwind affair with Alex Rodriguez in 2017.
Until their January 2021 divorce, Affleck was linked to a number of women, including “Knives Out” actress Ana De Armas.
Affleck stepped in and reconnected with Lopez shortly after Lopez’s breakup from A-Rod. Since then, the couple — who just spent $50 million on a Bel Air estate – have been going strong.
On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February, the “Marry Me” actress said, “I don’t believe anyone was more startled than us.” “You could never fathom something like that happening.” It’s a lovely thing.”
Their loved ones look to be thrilled for the pair as well. In July 2021, when Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon, was asked about their relationship, Damon said, “I have to tell, the press treated them extremely badly approximately 18 years ago. What’s wonderful is that they’re at least being courteous this time.”
A month later, a source told ET that seeing Affleck “be in such a terrific spot in his life and in his relationship” was pleasant for Damon.
“Matt is relieved that J.Lo and Ben are reuniting in this new, adult way,” a source stated. “Ben is doing incredibly well, as his pals will attest.”
In July 2021, a source told ET, “Jen Garner and Marc Anthony are continuing to be supportive, and there doesn’t seem to be any bad will across the board.” “They all want want the best for their families and each other.”
An engagement was a “ongoing talk” between the couple, a source informed ET in March 2022.
“Ben and Jen can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together and feel that they were meant to be together,” stated the insider. “Jen and Ben are tremendously encouraging to one another. Ben is Jen’s biggest supporter, and he constantly praises her and tells her how awesome he is. He enjoys discussing her many undertakings.
She is also a strong supporter of his, but Ben can’t stop bragging about how brilliant and hardworking she is.”
“They actively discuss what hasn’t worked in the past and utilise those lessons to enhance their relationship now, for the sake of themselves and their family,” the insider added. “They are devoted to a long-term, healthy partnership.”
